These 1 dozen flat seam collegiate baseballs are designed to last through hit after hit after hit during training and games. The full-grain leather coverings, red flat seams, cushioned cork centers, standard windings and Core Bond adhesive add durability and improved grip. These baseballs are suitable for game and practice use. Rawlings' research highlighted an average 26-foot increase in flat-seam baseball distances compared to raised-seam baseballs. The NCAA's own independent testing verified Rawlings' original conclusions. Also, this ball comes standard with Rawlings' exclusive Extra Inning Technology (EIT). EIT baseballs are used at the highest level of collegiate play and will last 15% longer with the same great consistency and moisture protection.
