Rawlings Varsity Hollywood Impact Kwik Release Double First Base Set and 2 Kwik Release Bases

The Rawlings Hollywood Impact Kwik-Release double first base compresses upon impact like other Hollywood impact bases, but with an added safety feature where the top of the base disengages from the bottom platform upon a strong impact, greatly reducing the risk of player injury. The orange platform of the base is equipped with a 6" stanchion on its underside for mounting into a ground anchor (sold separately). The orange platform also features soft tabs that interconnect with the tabs on the underside of the top base. The soft orange tabs are soft enough for players to slide over when the top base disengages.

The double first base design is perfect for fields who use the double first base for softball. Available as an individual double first base, or a set of 3 which includes 1 double first base and 2 standard Hollywood Impact Kwik-Release bases.

This has a higher level of resistance available - varsity which takes a stronger impact to disengage.
