Dislike the knit tongue ~ Gel Nimbus 28

I have worn ASICS Gel Nimbus for years and just bought the 28 version. I like the shoe but I do not like the knit tongue at all. It doesn’t allow for enough support on the top of foot and is extremely hard to get on. The gel nimbus 26 was the best as far as the tongue design. Am considering returning them because of that.
